LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
A Lymphatic and Toxin drainage massage is a lovely gentle massage which encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body.

A part of the immune system, the lymphatic system helps the body to fight off infections. Its network of tissues and organs enable the body to get rid of toxins, waste, and other unwanted materials

Everyone can benefit from a Lymphatic massage; it can reduce swelling, water retention, boost the immune system and improve circulation. With gentle massage we speed up the removal of waste and release toxins that have built up in the lymph nodes. It helps to increase the flow of toxins through the body and into the organs that eliminate them: the spleen and liver. It cleanses muscles and tissue by pulling toxins out of the tissue and pushing the fluid back into the organs of elimination. Lymph can become swollen, sore, and painful. This massage therapy will sooth, ease and help rebalance the body.

Any health issues can interrupt the normal flow of lymph fluid, causing lymph fluid to build up in areas in the body such as arms and legs where it can cause swelling. This condition is called lymphedema. People can develop lymphedema as a result of infections, cancer treatments that involve the removal of lymph nodes, and any condition that damages the lymphatic system.

If you are experiencing any of the following a lymphatic / toxin drainage massage will benefit you enormously: - Stress, Digestive problems, Insomnia, Arthritis, Lymphedema, Fibromyalgia, Swelling or Edema, Fatigue, Skin disorders, Migraines, Water retention.

Clinical trials and research have suggested that it can help to reduce thigh circumference, cellulite and fat in women.

Please note: A Lymphatic massage is not suitable for people who have congestive heart failure, blood clots, kidney problems, infections, or circulation problems. If you have any medical conditions, you should talk to your doctor before trying a lymphatic massage.
